Moove Impact Report 2023/24

We are delighted to share the ‘Moove Impact Report 2023/24’, showcasing our Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG), and Impact performance for the 12-month period ending December 31st, 2023. Starting in Nigeria in 2020, we have expanded our operations across Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia, becoming Uber's largest vehicle supply partner across EMEA in less than three years.

Moove is a mission-driven company dedicated to democratising access to financial services for mobility entrepreneurs. Our mission is to financially empower every mobility entrepreneur by integrating them into the global financial system through our credit-scoring products and fintech platform. We achieve this by embedding our alternative credit scoring technology onto ride-hailing platforms, using proprietary performance and revenue analytics to underwrite customers previously excluded from financial services.

In 2023, Moove significantly impacted key areas such as Financial Inclusion, Gender Equality, Access to Life and Health Insurance, and Environmental Impact. We have identified the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) where we can make the most substantial contributions:

We are excited to have launched our new sustainability strategy in 2023, produced following a materiality assessment conducted by our ESG & Impact team. For the remainder of 2024, we will continue to roll out this framework and its four key pillars: Governance, Customers, Collaborators & Climate.

By the end of 2023 we had created c.17,500 jobs for our customers and impacted over 70,000 lives. Our ongoing impact and the potential of our business model have been emphasised by a recent raise of $100m in fresh capital. Looking ahead, we plan to expand our vehicle financing and financial services into new markets, further serving the millions of mobility entrepreneurs in need of financial services. We remain committed to our ESG goals, including increasing female representation in senior leadership and promoting sustainable practices across our operations.
